We've just found another profile pushing someone else's photos and we have successfully ensured they leave the site.

Fake profiles achieve nothing and stink of creepy pervert.

If you are chatting to someone, and you do have some reservations about the legitimacy of them, ALWAYS Google Reverse their images. Find out when they say they took the pic, and then check the earliest upload of the photo that Google has.

Our profile has mostly new pics as we like to keep up to date, but many of our images are online. We could date most of them for you. But if you find that they say they took all their photos last week and you Google Reverse the photo and it appears on a site three years ago, you can kick that person to the Report button Curb.

Google Reverse Search is easy. You can either google about it to find out how to use it, or you can use a browser extension. We have Safari on Mac and it has a right click option after we installed the addon. It means we can right click any image, and Google Reverse it (look online for copies of that image), and see a list of where it's located with dates of upload.

We hope this helps some people. This is a great site but as with every site like this, a LOT of profiles are fake. And I'd like to point out, being verified with a green tick does NOT mean the photos are theirs. This girl we just found out was verified and yet ALL her photos were off of other sites. Disgusting!

Yes, but Google's Database makes TinEye's look minuscule, so worth checking Google first.

Let's kill off all these fake accounts!

What I always think is once the fake has been caught and removed, admmin should view who had verified the fake and give them some sort of punishment as they are just as bad for helping the fake.

I got an unwanted/fake verification a good 3-4 month ago now and confronted the guy. Claimed his account had been hacked but I reported and thankfully got both the verification removed off the profile and the user removed from the site (even if they made a new account 2mins later)

Have to confess - if bored in the evening I often have a browse and find a few!! Some are more subtle than others but there are some pretty obvious ones cropping up regularly - and the thing I find sad is they usually have long friends lists within hours of joining!! Are people really that desperate to make 'friends' and open up their private pics?

The best thing to do is report the pic or profile and let Admin take a look.
