You open a new jar only to find a nice large slice,then underneath all tiny bits.

Beetroot is really good for you - amongst other things it lowers your blood pressure. I buy beetroot juice to drink and also the vacuum packed stuff you find in the salad isles at the supermarket - that's always whole so no bits

Fantastic vegetable. I love cooking them, sliding off the skin when still warm is one of my most favourite things to do in the kitchen, strange hey. lol

Tescos sweetfire beetroot is lush!

I use the vacuum packed stuff to make my own chilli and garlic pickled beetroot. The fresh i roast - yum!

I like making my own love eating them warm just boiled ........ and roasting them too ,, yummm. And its the time of the year to get them. Just rubber gloves peeling them , lol

Another fan here, I enjoy the juice and also love Tesco's vacuum packed beetroot which I often eat on wholegrain crackers.
