Two weeks of school holidays!

What activities have you got planned to entertain the kids? I've found it harder as they've got older to entertain them.

I've got the cinema, a bake-off, and a day in the peaks planned so far.

We've done a week already OP.

Minecraft is at the cinema so that is a must (so I'm told).

Tidying toys/rooms went down like a lead balloon.

Mayfair

Not much really, unfortunately. One week down and eleven days to go. So far we've done a catamaran ferry along the Thames towards Greenwich/Cutty Sark, a little shopping and also a trip to Hampshire planned.

The crux is that my son has been given so much homework and prep work for his GCSEs... it's relentless, leaving little time and opportunity to unwind and to just forget about school for a while. I'm sure we'll think of something suitable and distracting. 🌈

A week done here too. Loads of revision, unfortunately, but at least she’s actually working, unlike her brother at the same time

It’s really about breaking up the day without spending half the time travelling, so shopping, cafe, playing games, watching TV together and letting her choose the dessert treat for meals.
