just was havin a lovely session with a lovely cpl and radio on stereo a song came on (carpenters) the two girls started crying dont know wat song was but wat a voice she has who are the carpenters

They were a brother and sister duo, he played drums she sang.

Sadly she died younr with anorexia.....but you are right, she had a lovely voice.

she had a great voice... and a very sad tale.

I believe some commentator said ' the slightly chubby' singer and that was the start of her eating discorder...

very sad indeed.

they did some great songs during the 70s .karen carpenter had a fantastic voice but sadly died from heart attack in 1983 that was brought on by anorexia.
