I've just heard on the news that Ray Harryhausen has died.

I feel the need to watch a film now.

R.I.P., and thanks for all the magical films that were staples of my childhood.

Jason and the Argonauts is one of my favourite top 20 films of all time.

A real shame and huge loss to the film community, he was a true pioneer of visual effects and stop go animation.
