It depends on where I'm meeting them. Generally a dress and flats. Sometimes a mini skirt and t-shirt.

Underneath I'll wear a nice set. Minus the knickers. That's more for me than them.

Usually smart casual, preppy perhaps, but it's really determined (and dependant) on the person I'm meeting and what they will be wearing so that we are congruous the place where we are going.

i make sure that i know where the meeting is to take place. so if for example a social for a coffee, then casual dressed.

if it's a night time in a pub then shirt and trousers/smart casual.

So if it's Winter then a knitted jumper, jeans, and boots. Summer it depends if it's a social or not. For a social, it might just be a polo-neck jeans and trainers but for a sexual meet, it'll probably be more shirt, chinos and shoes

A nice dress that I'd wear to any pub/bar/restaurant, and usually fishnets with some of my good lingerie on underneath if I expect it could be more than just a social. It's a nice surprise for later.

your wildest dreams,

Very much depends on where the meeting will take place and the person I’m meeting.

I’ve met in a wetsuit at the beach

A floaty dress with a strap on underneath, at a hotel.

A very formal dress, heels for dinner

Mini skirt, fishnets and docs down the pub.

Variety is always more fun

Same.

I've done a first social in orange workwear once (they were understanding and demanded I show up as such), tidy casual clobber usually, but have had one in lycra when I showed up on my bike (was dared I wouldn't, so... I did.)

"To initial meets? Casual clothes or something more exotic.. just incase? "

First couple of meets were social so I dressed smart/casual with a bit of sass 😉 He wore shirt and jeans

The other meets when we knew we were going to be physical I wore a dress with nice underwear.

Very much depends. I don’t do dinner dates with peeps I’m just getting to know. Would much rather go to the pub, have a walk, or do something fun/explore somewhere. Soooo casual always - casual dress and trainers, or jeans, low cut top; I do love a tease; and boots. I never mean to but I guess my go to look is a bit rock chicky 🤷🏻‍♀️

Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Havant

Freshly ironed shirt. Clean black button up Levi’s

That fit well on my legs + belt

Always sleeves part rolled up or cuff links (I have double cuff shirts )

Polished shoes or DM’s

I wear a good perfume such as Hemmes

Argyll socks and probably no underwear …

Possibly a jacket

It’s important to make an effort … the ladies I have met certainly have done … it’s reciprocal

I want someone to turn up feeling comfortable in what they are wearing

I view socials as socials

For me, they're not an interview

If I felt like they were, I wouldn't take the job even if it was offered

To that end, I don't want anyone to feel self conscious or on edge

I don't think you get to know anyone when their guard is up or when they are on their best behaviour

Dressing is all part of that comfort

For example

I don't own any trousers

I don't own any jeans

I don't own a blazer or a tailored shirt

Everything I wear is for comfort - cargo pants, hoodies, overshirts etc

I don't even possess a pair of 'smart' shoes these days

It's trainers or nothing

That's what I'm the 'real me' in

Showing that is important to both myself and to those I meet

If a choice of wardrobe means we are incompatible, then that's a good part of the litmus test complete

As I said up there somewhere, casual, but not sloppy

---

It's like the choice of venue

I much prefer a weekend daytime meet, where we can chat over a brew and a bite to eat at leisure

A posh restaurant or fancy venue wouldn't suit me at all

Again, I wouldn't be comfortable

Again, if that's what you like or where you are comfy, great

Another measure of incompatibility

Tonypandy.

Depends where initial meeting is.

Pub / coffeeshop etc will be casual. (Top and tidy jeans)

Organised social, maybe smart trousers and top or a wrap-dress.

Meeting after work, black suit and white t-shirt.

We met off Fab. Our first meet I wore chinos, shoes and a jumper (we were meeting in the day time at a tea rooms for tea and cake). I thought I looked smart (fashion not really my thing). Turns out it was a real miss, she did not like what I was wearing at all (especially with my blue wet weather jacket, it was a wet day).

The meet did not go well and it was over in about 1hr, we were done. Anyway, I just thought fuck it and and kissed her, nothing to lose. So I did, I grabed and kissed her in my car. That kiss changed everything. We then continued the date all day with going out for a bit of a drive in the country, a couple of pubs and a couple of blow jobs. By the end of the day (we had to get back to our respective kids) we were laughing, kissing and holding hands like well established lovers.

So I guess that's just a long winded way of saying don't worry about what you wear because an awesome kiss can redeem the worse of fashion faux pas.
