Ethical whatsapping

I (female) have a new job that is to take me travelling around the north. One of the places is where I know an ex to be living/working.

This person is not on social media so I’m not aware if they are in a relationship. If they are still on the same number I have it in my phone.

Thing is, we ended on ok terms and the sex was always 10/10 between us.

Would it be unethical to whatsapp to invite them for drinks/sex when I know I’m in the area not knowing if they are now in a relationship

I’m not saying they would even want to maybe but what I think I am asking is would YOU take such a gamble?

Ps. We used to have a couples account on here so I know they are sexually open minded but I don’t want to offend someone that is now possibly monogamous

Thankyou in advance.

Mrs. Xx

Why not just text them, say obviously you're unsure of their circumstances but you're going to be in the area and would they like to catch up? Nothing wrong with that!

Yes it's ethical to ask. It's ethical for him to say yes. It's unethical for him to say yes if he keeps it from his partner if he has one.

Just ask .... the only reason you wouldn't is because you'd fear rejection.

ask.

Ex for a reason..why are you going back and not forward? Why are you intreasted in where he is in his life? Regardless of what he's on in sites/apps. Why do you have his number still? Sounds like you haven't completely ended it in you. I wouldn't go searching for him. Just my opinion

How would you feel if you got in contact and it headfucked him and ruined a relationship or potential relationship because of it?? You're ok, your in a relationship. If a bloke was asking the same question...what would you say to him?

He's your ex. ( big emphasis on ex!)🤔

Why don't you just msg him OP, ask how is and if wants to meet for a drink when you are in the area.

I don't know about it being unethical

But I don't think it would be wise
