April 1st, winter behind us, longer evenings, sunny days, and as Nina said, I'm Feeling Good ! 😊

What's putting a spring in Your step at the moment, what's giving you more bounce to the ounce ?

All over

Spring of course, nicer weather and Easter round the corner. Little lambs playing in the fields, flowers coming up, walks in the sunshine and the like. Oh and a nice message I had recently from someone

Edinburgh

It's 18 degree's in Edinburgh and I've potentially made something better at work .

I'm also going to Berlin on Friday.

Happy girl here

Spring. It's beautiful isn't it? The smell of wild garlic, the sunshine, the generally happier disposition of people. Early mornings in the garden as the birds merrily chirp away and the sun rises.

There are plans that are making me smile a lot. Currently deciding between Palermo and Verona which is rather exciting. People are definitely making the days even brighter.

And I exceeded my weight loss goal for last month, which means sundresses and grass stained knees will soon be my go to look. 🩷

The looming possibility of global thermonuclear apocalypse.

It's what's kept me going for a while now, I want to see that before I kick the bucket.

"April fool's "

I believe that Spring used to mark start of the Pagan New Year but when Christians introduced their calender they mocked the Pagans as April's Fools.

Spring, for me, is like a 'temperate' hope in disguise. I wax lyrical about Autumn but will concede that IF the weather that we had in London today - a determined and warm Sun with a cold breeze - would be like this all year round then I would be quite content.
