So there’s a lass I first met 20 odd years ago has popped up on my FB feed (not spoken to her for years) and people you may know- she’s single and thinking of messaging her but very rusty on the etiquette of this.

Erring on the side of an unsolicited message is going to come across as creepy so not done it, but had a thing for her years ago.

So asking the fab massive should i let it slide or give it a go and if yes- how so?

If this was fabs/tind/Bumb id not give it a second thought but as stated vanilla is a very different thing.

I think a generic message as suggested above is suitable. By taking this approach the worst that can happen is the chat remains an exchange of pleasantries and a nice stroll down memory lane, which is nice.

Thank you all for constructive responses, was just a bit vulnerable last night after grinding all week as usual and coming home late to a still and empty house with no one to interact with.

Weirdly risks are something Ive never shied away from but maybe best to pick and choose those risks to aim for more reward.

No harm in asking.

Are you going to contact the person? A friend of mine had a relationship with a guy she contacted after around 25 years in the old Friends Reunited days
