If that's how you feel I'd say it's definitely worth taking a break at least. Hide your profile, log out, stick with dating sites for now and come back if and when you're feeling it. Good luck

Don't delete your profile, as you may struggle to get verifications if you were to return? Just put your profile on hide, and take a break from here. I use other sites too, and find them easier to meet women because the ratios are much better

Feel your pain mate. It can be tough on here, you've just got to cut through the B.S - I'd suggest keeping things like Bumble & other places open with this to increase your chances. No point deleting it man, you'll get there!

I’d definitely take a break from it, hide the profile and log out for a while if I felt like that

Perhaps set yourself up on the dating apps and see what happens with them

If you do find dating sites work out better then you can always delete this, if not you’ve always got this to come back to without starting again

We go to clubs and can't say we've met people who are any of those things, but understand it's easier to engage with others when you're a couple.

I have hidden my profile for the last couple of months and generally stayed away from the site. Tempted to delete my profile but will only do that when I’m in a committed relationship, it’s only fair.

I tend to find these absences helpful and maybe something you should consider first. Literally hide your profile, stay away from the site for a period of time if you realise other places are more fruitful then delete.

Whenever I'm faced with the choice of continuing to do something that frustrates me and doesn't make me happy it's a relatively simple decision.

I stop doing it.

I then put my time and energy into things that make me happy.

I'll always sit back and ask myself whether it's a problem with the task itself, the expected result or whether it was achievable and worth attempting first though, as sometimes it's not 'what' I'm trying to do that's the issue, more 'how' I'm approaching it that's the problem.

Sometimes it's a 'me' problem more than anything else. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes people are their own worst enemies and will just carry on doing the same thing over and over, expecting to eventually get the result they want. Unlikely to happen. Accepting that something isn't the right thing for you and that it's time to give up is often hard.

And yet I still buy lottery tickets.......🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂

Dating sites have a more even female:male ratio than Fab, so not surprising anyone (not just the OP) can have more success in them, considering the starting block of at least your message gets read, instead of lost in a tidal wave of messages…….

Fab can, and does work, I’m testament to that. But there’s a huge element of opportunity associated with getting any kind of interaction through here. There’s no magic formula for the ‘perfect profile’, there’s no ‘best first message’, just be yourself, only message those you feel a genuine match for, and never take this place too seriously.

Take a break from the site if you feel like you’re shouting in to a cave, and all you hear is echos……
