When does the summer season start?

Are we a nation desperate to forget winter? For me, the summer holiday season starts at Easter and goes through to the end of October. I can't wait to get some weekends/weeks away.

How about you? When do you start thinking of summer fun? 🤓

I’m a purist.

Summer season for me is the 3 weeks at the end of May and 2 weeks in September that are nice.

Every other time is too rainy

I have a mate that says summer last from clocks forward to clocks back and wouldn’t wear a jacket during that time.

For me I’d day from May til September or whenever I can escape to the sun.

Fifey I fear SS may not understand the Scottish seasons and the 52 week rule. One week each of spring, summer (if we are lucky) autumn & winter then 48 of rain.
