Or would you like to like your job but someone or something ruins it.

What would be your dream job?

I like my job, I like the variety and the people I meet

My job's okay. It's the best job I've had, but I made a mistake 40 years ago when I was deciding what to study at university, and the result was a career in a field that I'd largely lost interest in within 5 years.

Too late now.

No, I do not like my job. I love some of my clients but the job itself not particularly.

In an ideal world I would start my own fitness business, but commitments mean I need the steady income of a “proper” job 🤷🏻‍♀️

My job has gone from something I enjoyed and found interesting and stimulating, to something I can’t wait to finally retire from in future.

Unfortunately I’m at an age where it would be very difficult to find a different job with similar income

Finally aged 60 I gave up a managerial job that I’d grown to hate.

Now I work part time in a social care role and I absolutely love it. I feel like I’m really making a difference instead of dealing with corporate crap.

Why did I wait so long???

No, set it on fire and watch it burn, I have unrealistic KPI’s, sometimes unpleasant working conditions, our work mantra is ‘ think about what you can do for the company’ when in reality I am just a number, they will shout about values and integrity when in reality it’s we need to hit the targets to keep shareholders happy, absolute dogshit one out of five stars would not recommend

My job is a means to an end. It provides a good routine, is in a recession-proof industry, provides a good pension and more importantly, allows me to do what I want in my free time. It's not a dream job and not do I particularly like it, but they pay me for my time and I do a good job that's required of me. Simple

I stay because it’s flexible around my out of work life and some of the are cracking.

I like my job. If it wasn't for the cockwomble in my office, and one of the sons of the company owners, who happens to be the MD, I would love my job. The two ladies in my office keep me sane, and I keep them sane, too, as they hate cockwomble as much as I do.

One of my jobs I sometimes enjoy, and sometimes don't so much, especially when it's cold and raining like this afternoon! I wish it was more valued and appreciated by Joe Public but we carry on regardless doing our very best.

My other job, well I've actually handed my notice in, I've only got 2 weeks left!

I was bored, frustrated, and felt very unappreciated, so when I was asked by another organisation if I would be interested in a job there, I jumped at the chance. Plus it's in an industry where my heart lies so I'm chuffed.

It’s not the job I dislike, it’s the department and senior management. It had a lot of potential but there seems to be a major disconnect from reality with the owners and the board of directors. Very little knowledge is held at director level regarding company processes yet micromanagement is creating obstacles for it’s own progress.

I don't mind my job, it's better than some of the ones I've had throughout my illustrious career. I now make flavours for all those lovely Haribo sweets, the flavouring in the Kipling cakes, the flavours in well known brands of energy drinks.... basically the flavours and colourings in practically everything we eat (except obviously the stuff that's grown naturally).
