Just clicked on a thread to receive the message 'you do not have permission to view this thread'. What's all that about, I thought the forums were public. 65 and confused

It usually shows while a thread is being moved. Once it is moved you can just click on it.

It'll be a system or platform level message OP, they tend to be terse and generic in nature. Much like any thread I start.
