You can train your abs directly if you want to strengthen your core, but you won't have visible abs unless you have a low bodyfat percentage, which is achieved by diet. Even cardio is not technically required although it might help you burn fat a bit faster - but you do cardio exercises to strengthen your heart and improve your cardiovascular performance. | |||
