I was not try to convince I was asking if any other ways to approach the matter, apologies if that shows I was try to convince, for more then 5 years we are talking once in a while about this matter and I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong, but I never put my wife in any unpleasant or not confortable situation.

Maybe I did not put the correct words, when I said what you did to convince her, was not forcing her or similar, was like what kind of words or things you did, trying to find if I was doing something wrong.

There's no magic phrase that will change her mind. All you can do is talk honestly to her .
