Hey everyone. I’m a recently single (9months) and joined this site to find like minded people who don’t want commitment.

I feel though in real life I’ve had encounters.. this site is heavily weighted in females and find it’s damaging to my mental health.

I know it’s optional but would like to know other people’s experiences and how long it takes to get a connection

Don't rely on just messaging people. Go to a club or organised social.

Can't give you anything about how the site works for ourselves as we are a couple but will sincerely say that if it's affecting your mental health then perhaps take a break, hide your profile and focus on you for a while..

Wish you well..

"

And don't use the site, when you find it's having harmful effects on your health.

Honestly, it's as random as it gets.

Don't take it too seriously and you may even have a bit of fun with it.

Thick skin helps, no expectations avoids any disappointment. Anything does happen, bonus.

Going to socials is a good idea😁

This place is not worth it if it’s negatively affecting your mental health. Focus on yourself and when you feel ready try some socials! There’s always one going on somewhere.

Price wise is much better than clubs for single males too, get yourself out here, meet likeminded people and hopefully make a friend or two x

If this site is damaging your mental health you shouldn't stay

I'll reflect what others have said. This isn't mandatory so if it's harmful to you in any way it's not for you.

An alternative is to change your expectations

Others will opine that this site is heavily weighted in •males• but I admire your optimism. 🩶

If it's damaging your mental health then leave. It's not that hard.

I recommend taking this site with a pinch of salt. If you think about the advice we would give to someone going to a club for the first time e.g., go with no expectations and if something happens then enjoy. I recommend that mindset for this site too.

Before you even consider leaving the site, think about changing your expectations of it first.

Best wishes

Mrs
