No point shooting it as there are plenty more to take its place.

Try putting plastic spikes or whatever to prevent them from resting near the chimney, or wear earplugs to bed.

Errr granny theres red tape galore, health and safety directives, so the sling shot may have been oKay in the day, I m afraid that its not today,,

Plastic spikes or cap the chimney. I grew up in a house where they nested in the eaves I eventually got used to it. Not much help for you at the moment. I do feel for you though!
