Forever Young

After a conversation with my young cousin earlier this evening "late last night" He stated that he wished he was 21 again. "He's now 24"

I said to him that even at 42 I still feel 21 in my head. The only difference is that my brain is 4 moves ahead of my body and I realise that now there are consequences to my actions.

Which lead me to thinking! Is this a man thing? Or do women still feel young in their own head?

In my head I think I’m still 25, but then I talk to a 25yr old and realise nope, I’m definitely not

My mindset will always be in its 30's, but my body is definitely nearly 50, it took me a while to accept that frustration though.

Sometimes my head still feels like it is in its early 20s. As you say, the body on the other hand does not appreciate these moments and I pay for them dearly after 🍭

Don’t think I’ll even grow up, sure I’ll mature and the wisdom will grow, but mentally I’ll always be about 7.

I believe I remain at about 27 ish. Definitely not past my 30s for sure. Body says otherwise. My own fault for not taking care of it as much as I should have

Yes. This. I'm still the first to get on the bouncy castle or giggle at the word erect. I'll never grow up

I feel like 'me' in my head and I'm frequently surprised when I realise how many years I've been alive. I guess I'm around 45 in my head.

My dad is nearly 98 and he thinks he's about 50

I get a surprise when I look in the mirror and see a grey- haired, balding old fart looking back at me. 😐

I work with young people. It doesn’t take much to remind me on the regular I’m no longer 18.

In my head I'm still in my 30s. My body keeps telling me not to be so stupid, have a nap and painkillers.
