Be creative, go through it and make a quirky piece of garden sculpture..

Or go the tip..

These are really intelligent , informative and useful replies..... I'd have to swap houses too cos our bins have big fluorescent numbers on.

The sculpture I might get busy on this afternoon

E) run out like a mad woman in my nightie and nothing else, check the neighbours wheelie to see if they've been yet and drag mine out while trying not to flash the entire street.

Our bin men are loud and it's a small estate. They wake me up before getting to our street, but I have, like, 60 second to get downstairs, unlock the back gate and get the bin out.

Just think, oh bollocks. We very rarely fill our bins. It would normally take about 6 weeks to fill the landfill one if we missed the fortnightly collection.

We are not allowed coal fires. How come you can have one ?

I never forget, the rest of the street won’t allow it as they all put them out the night before, but not me I like to drag it out at 5am, wakey wakey, rise and shine it’s bin day time.

It depends whether your bin has got 3 week old fish wrappings in it like mine does. I missed the last bin day and it stinks to high heaven now!

I just phone up and say the men didn't empty my bin. The are usually apologetic and it gets emptied later that day.

I live on my own so I can miss a week and not worry. The only problem is my bottle bin, that can get full pretty quickly x

Get into a rage.

6 weeks of not having it collected in a gated development made it a mess. Lots of angry emails from several people on site, calls and visit to the mp. Finally collected. Huge amount of time wasted following up

Make friends with your neighbours.

My bin gets collected every 3 weeks. I've put it out once myself in the past year as every time I've gone to do it it's already out. 🤷‍♂️

Recycling bins get collected weekly but if I forget it's no biggie. I don't create that much rubbish myself.

*aside from the occasional forum thread.......🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
