Do you ever think you need a reality check or do you have a friend who just can’t help telling you?

I cycled today for the first time in a long time. Push bike instead of motorbike. 30 plus miles later I’m walking like John Wayne after a week in the saddle and have hamstrings like a wound up elastic band

I hear you. I’ve been trying to get back into cycling for a few months. I find the time commitment the hardest part. I just don’t have half a day to spare.

It's the muscle pings that get you. My left elbow is currently covered in ibuleve and a compression bandage. Earlier this month it was my ankle and knee. I live walking, but I'm going to have to pace it a bit more 😬

4hrs hunting to hounds yesterday on my daughters horse and today I can hardly get out off the chair. Reminds me why I hadn’t been this season and will not rush to go again next autumn unless my ride is very quiet and obedient.
