How unfortunate for you. I have a suggestion though, why not use the time wisely to spare a thought for the person who jumped and their family?

Well why would you be out on the tracks anyway!? They either didn't have common sense or they didn't want to live anymore, granted I feel for the family- but if it was suicide, it was completely selfish of the person to do so!

Obviously he/she was in a very distressed state to do such a thing! Have a bit of compassion please.

No it didn't ruin my night, it was an inconvenience, sure, but it didn't ruin it.

I do tend to think of the bigger picture and that would include all those involved. Even the petty non respecters of life who find the loss of other humans a mere inconvenience to their plans, so I have no use for your advice which is neither friendly or even useful.

If you are really sorry that you don't have compassion for suicide victims then change.

It sounded like petulance to me. Which is amusing in anyone under the age of ten.

This thread should die itself.

I'm by no means trying to give out advice, at no point did it seem like I was. I do care for human life. I've had friends who have killed themselves. I'm not being sulky, and furthermore to this- I really do not care what you think of me.

I think you're wrong about them being selfish. When someone has reached that pllace in their mind, the part where there's no going back, the last thing they're thinking of is how their actions will affect others. Although that statement in itself sounds selfish, its really not.

I would have to admit that up until semi recently I was in the 'selfish' camp, but having got to know someone who has made several attempts, my belief and understanding has now changed!

How the heck is it the driver's fault ? He's just killed someone through no fault of his own and has to live with that for the rest of his life and everyday he goes to work herafter - if he can ever psyche himself up to go drive again.
