I imagine some women are abusive. I've had a few give me abuse and blocked me when I didn't reply soon enough or within their own imaginary time frame. As for being a single guy thing, well there's more single guys on here, so the chance of guys being abusive is higher.

I’m sure some women can get a bit lairy if they message and get rejected.

But, block and report if abusive.

No excuse for it.

Don't worry, we're talking about the more malignant ones, of which ·some women· have a natural flair for.

I've seen some women, not recently start threads because they can't believe they've been turned down. One women said because she was universally attractive What I've been told by friends some women can be bat shit crazy in messages.

Ive only ever had three abusive messages from men in all the years I've been here

As soon as women get the same sort of power that men have they abuse it in exactly the same way. Everyone's always shocked when it happens, too.

Men are more abusive more often because it's more effective and they're less likely to see any repercussions. But on the occasions that women can be nasty really effectively, and also aren't likely to see any repercussions, they seem to take the opportunity at the same rate as men.

In terms of fabs I've seen some real nastiness towards s from women but especially women in couples. I guess in their head they can be as mean as they like and their husband will protect them from any blowback.

Blocking without engagement is very effective 👍

I'm going to say something that will probably upset people and put me in the bad books but.......

I think fab has an ability to give some women over inflated egos. These women then think that they are God's gift and absolutely everyone wants them.

They develop a superiority complex.

When their ego is threatened I can see them getting arsey and downright rude about it.

I did say some women, not all.

It is far less common among women in general but does happen and shouldn't be ignored or tolerated, the same way it isn't tolerated from men.

A while back I’d chatted with a faceless account, just a few messages. I told her I needed an attraction to meet so she sent a photo, my reply was “Sorry, you’re not for me.” She lost it. Kept sending messages demanding I tell her why. It’s easy to understand why women are quick to block.

The truthful answer is yes

The sad answer is it’s common on all sides.

Maybe controversial but my honest opinion is that the more popular seem in forums the more abusive they become when you don’t respond in a way that they want

Like ganged up on the forum or harassing with private messages? I'd think either could have been reported and put a stop to to let him carry on in peace 💜

My personal experience would indicate that women are more likely to turn on you behind your back when spurned.

I've never had abuse to my face after turning someone down but I know that on more than one occasion women have gone on to try and damage my reputation in other ways including straight up telling other women not to meet me.

Hell hath no fury like a woman spurned.

Ah yes, that's a bit of a classic and is always dressed up in the language of keeping women safe (which obviously undermines genuine attempts to keep women safe).

Happens a lot in BDSM communities; very hard to navigate who is genuine and who is just pursuing a vendetta (especially since people can very easily do both).

I met a woman about 5 years ago. Her very first words to me before she even said _ello were "are you nervous about meeting me?"

It never went beyond that single social but she was seriously pissed that I chose to meet someone else and for the next 18 months or so made everything I did on fab about her.

So much so that she did everything she could to drive a wedge between my best friend and me with lies and tall tales and when none of that worked she shared our personal details with others.

I found it all very sad that a grown adult needed that level of validation in the first place but also that my rejection of her could become such a vendetta for so long.

I can confirm that this happens as does the warning men off other women who they see as direct competition.

I have been told that certain women are horrible, hideous, vindictive, unclean and should be avoided at all costs.

The funny thing is that those very same accusers then display shiny new verifications from those awful individuals and verify them in return as lovely ladies.

I think thank god for ChatGPT because now after 300,000 years I don't have to do it an AI program can do it which means I can go do something else like spin around a lamppost but if you've seen the hit motion picture The Terminator maybe won't bode well for the future of humanity with the task of trying to chat to women likely what will push it over the edge and cause thermonuclear warfare.

Not had any problems on the site but had a lady of a couple see her arse because Paul and I decided not to take it any further after a social meet in a pub.

Basically, her husband treated her as a princess and we didn't fall into line.

We thought we were pleasant and engaging during the meet but Paul didn't agree with her when she asked if she was the best looking woman he had met.

But she wasn't....

Sad, but funny.

Only had the one abusive reaction. A couple messaged us and I (f) politely declined. The female half then sent a very long nasty response back. You knew it was her by the way she was saying stuff. She even ranted about how rude we were for not sending our photos to them (why would we when it’s a no?) Definitely took rejection badly. It’s nothing personal, some handle rejection better than others.
