"My dear friend is staying with me this weekend and she and her family cook the most amazing curries and I want to surprise her by returning the favour I can of course look up recipes but has anyone here cooked a tranditional banglandeshi curry before and have any cooking recipes/tips for me please. She loves heat and spice but more flavoursome that blow the roof of your mouth off ![]() I'm Bengali OP. What type of curry are you thinking of making? In my experience, the easiest is a fish chutney with daal

"My Indian friends also make the most amazing and delicious curries. So rather than trying to offer them my imitation of their own cuisine, I like to cook spicy, flavorfull dishes from other parts of the world. Something different and exiting that I know will appeal to their palates. Cape Malay, Jamaican, creole, Thai, Korean etc..." I like this idea thank you
