Jesus, is it that long ago! Good film, great band.. saw em a few times when I was younger and if u listen to a lot of the tracks lyrics, they were so far in front of their time …. Album, “nobody’s fool” track “ all the world is a stage”

"I saw the film when it was released. I saw Slade at Hammersmith Odeon 1982,great live band "

I thought it was a good film, exposing the skullduggery of the music industry and battle of the bands.

I saw it too, at my local cinema, got to see it a couple of times as my mum was an usherette.

How does it feel, seems very poignant.

Yeh 50yrs, time flies. They knocked out song banging tunes, a head of their time definitely.

How Does It Feel is my favourite, love its melancholy tone.

Gudbye T’ Jane and My Friend Stan are a couple more great tracks.

I remember Nobby Holder acting in a comedy about teachers with Amanda Holden - or was that a sex dream ?

Massive Slade fan. I loved all their music. Saw them live a few times at Wolverhampton civic Hall. Once stood next to Nod at the bar in the Trumpet pub in Bilston.

Secret hideaway in the pennines

I saw the film when it came out at a midnight showing along with pink Floyd echoes.

Many years later I saw them live at Monsters of Rock at Donington
