So. I work in a role with a lot of stories to tell. I’ve had a lot of people over the last few years tell me I should write a memoirs type book of my life in my job.

Do people actually read that kinda stuff? I do, but then I’m weird like that! My partner in crime for tonight actually came up with a really good name for the book too (for which he wants royalties obviously!).

Fifty Shades of Green….. think it’ll be a hit?! 🤣

Paper Town Central, Essex.

The answer is yes.

People do read them.

An ex work colleague wrote a book, and self published it, about his exploits of stealing a plane flying it to Libya and claiming asylum., spending time (6 months) with a tribe of bedouin, and many other things.

He became a local legend and sold over 10000 copies.

It's absolutely worth considering it, but respect people's right to anonymity..

My old neighbour was in the Met all his life and has just published his 9th book, he’s doing well on Amazon and is in talks with production companies, so do it.

I'd say if it's something your passionate about and comes easy to you then go for it x

I'm in the entertainment industry. I've dealt with more than a few folk who have translated real world experience into literature, stage and screen. If you've done it and genuinely think it's going to be interesting enough to sell to 100 people it probably is. If you think 100 people will be interested it's more likely to be 10,000.

Give it a go.

Central

Perhaps consider writing a short excerpt and getting it out there. The popularity could build your belief and encourage you to spill all
