I had great plans for a chilled out Saturday in the garden, pottering about and planting stuff, as the weatherman said it would be fairly nice all weekend.

As the rain is now trying to batter down my doors, I shall remain firmly on the sofa, nibbling on a peach or two and watching movies and tinkering with fab, anyone care to join me, virtually speaking?

I've got my son's friend staying over and they are mad keen to try out our new tent.

But it poured all day yesterday and last night and today is overcast,

Guess I'm going to have two of them mooching about the house for another day ......... I'll be hiding with a good book or two.

Same here, I'm snuggled up with Nigel Slater, he is fab! Washing on the line but not for long if this wind gets much stronger. I need a handy man to do some jobs for me. Any guys fancy a day trip to the not so sunny IOW?
