I have heard Ian, Gary and Beryl.

But the children named after GoT characters are the winners for me

It's up there with Gary and Keith for me. I don't think any name is a bad name, I just picture them as middle aged people, and not babies 🫣

Ya know... I quite like how it sounds, it's that spelling that's questionable

I talked someone out of considering the name Jareth, mainly because it sounds as though you can't manage to pronounce Gareth

Seriously though, I don't consider any names to be funny.

Outdated, maybe. Unusual, perhaps, but I wouldn't say funny.

Old names make comebacks now and then.

Neighbours named their now 8 year old son Logan but, as they're both huge Arsenal fans, his middle name is Gunner.

I think choosing Donald would be a curious choice in 2025.

I had an Uncle Donald. Great Uncle actually. He was a total twit

WHEREVER I LAY MY HAT

When my middle child was a baby I went to an NCT coffee morning. Chatting to a woman, I asked what her baby's name was. She said "Eric". I cracked up and said "No really... What is he called?" He was called Eric 🙈🙈🙈

Winifred Robinson is great, from Radio 4. I'd be impressed if someone had Winifred as a name
