I'm probably a terrible person, but I've just had a private giggle to myself at the indignation of fellow passengers re: the ability to alight/disembark the train and announcements informing them they might have to travel to the next stop and catch a train back one station, due to overcrowding etc.

This is the regular experience of the disabled passenger. If the same level of indignation arose when assistance didn't arrive, staff refused to deploy ramps, station lifts were out of order and when myriad stations aren't accessible at all, we might get somewhere.

Anyway, that's my private giggle of today. Have you had any daft/amusing /borderline evil thoughts recently?

If staff in shops showed better intetest and provided a friendlier and more pleasant exoerience for there customers, them perhaps more would shop there and not from the comfort of their front room. Oh and pls turn that music down. I am not in Magaluf. I need to becable to hear myself speak and consentrate on my shopping not keep covering my ears in fear of bursting my ear drums.

There was a child listening to Christmas music earlier, which made me internally go

Holibobs

Last night, at Waterloo on my way home. On my left was a train to woking with 10 stops till woking and on my right was the train to ptsmouth, with only 1 stop to woking, the amount of people blindly zig-zagging between the two trains was amusing to me

Firstly, that doesn't make you a terrible person at all!

Yesterday, I fell into a shop: squeezed through a door that was really narrow, didn't see the step down, then fell in dramatically. And I APOLOGISED to the guy* on the till for falling. Then I spent the rest of the day annoyed at myself for saying sorry for something which was a public hazard.

*who did not apologise back, BTW.

In The Hills

I find peoples driving these days very comical and annoying. Since covid people have gotten worse and very selfish.

I do a 70mile+ round trip daily mostly on motorways and my closest motorways has been closed to me a few times now when trying to get to work due to accidents from rush hour (I work nights) but it's typically those lane hopping that cause the accidents as people don't pay attention or nip infront of a hgv that cannot see them and wonder why they got hit and get out and blame the hgv driver.

Think I've skipped the thread topic now and just ranted

I'm also highly amused, if not highly breathless, because I was able to get from platform 8 to platform 1 in about 4mins so I didn't miss my connection. Walking is SO overrated. Shoulder power for the win ♿
