Been awake since feckin 4am because of the wind and rain!!!! What with that and all the snow and ice I've forgotten what the sun looks like lol

cold here on the south coast,,,my little nose was frozen when i woke up..just thawing it out now with a nice strong coffee and got the electric blanket toating me poor blistered feet ....i can feel a duvet day looming

Morning peeps!

I am alive, just got up, and thought I'd better report in!

Had a good night sleep, despite being woken up at about 03:00h by some noise, went out to investigate via the toilet block before returning to sleep.

It is another crisp bright and clear day here, and freezing cold, very hard frost on the ground.

Off to get ready soon, as it is very important day - my bum is going to hurt!

Morning all, looks like little Jack Frost had a wonderful night here -9 here last night - watched the ice drifting byin the shannon yesterday, first time in 38 years I've seen that.

Indeed!

Plenty of time in my hands as I am not striking camp until tomorrow.

Went into the local town and found a tattooist that was opened.

I discussed with him what I have in mind, sketched out the rough drawing which would be drawn properly for today.

Going back this afternoon to have it done, woo hoo!

A world of my own

Morning all, sorry I'm late, I woke up at 5, freezing cold (was thinking about you Pearl and how bloody cold you must have been), fell asleep again at 7:30 and slept till 10:45!!! Very unlike me. Theres a very very thick frost here at the mo, so it will be bloody awful underfoot. Take care and have a good day eveyone!

Pearl, you a very brave lady! Or has this experienced of camping in the cold froozen yer brain girl? Tattoo on yer butt? Mad as cheese you are woman, lol.

Raz's aim was a little out, and instead of being snowed in, in Wales, it's snowed all over North Yorkshire where I was supposed to be going, so can't get there.

Wrong target, same result.
