Any plumbers that are well versed in water pressure pumps? I need a second opinion on something. If there is one please DM me. Thank you.

All I know is that you have to take your time and care to make sure the flange is well lubricated you don't want a dry one

And prime it first.

I have a genuine question plumber please. Does each shower need its own pump ? Do they work for both electric showers and those fed from the hot water tank ?

Assuming you have gravity fed system you can connect two showers to the same pump.

Electric showers doesn’t need pump as is connected from the main water source.

I would like to bost the pressure at our property but apparently you can't just put a pump in the pipe coming in to the property it has to have a tank?

You also need to be aware that as most electric showers are rated between 8-9kW, drawing about 40 amps. However 10.8kW showers are readily available which will consume about 47 amps.

We haven’t even discussed mcb’s and cable size.

If two electric showers are used simultaneously, the combined load can exceed the main house fuse rating, which in a domestic setting is normally 80 amps, potentially causing it to blow.

This is not something that you can change as it normally has a sealing tag to prevent the meter being bypassed along with other things.

You can have 2 electric showers in the house but you need to have them electrically wired to ensures that only one shower operates at any one time.

Understanding shower amps is crucial for protecting the main incoming supply.

Not sure of the problem, but I'm sure it's under the sink with a scantily clad woman standing over you with nothing on except a short skirt and a white blouse

If you don't live on your own, try and place it away from a room that's used for sleeping, they can be quite loud.
