First off this is not a rant or a hug fess.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have had a few different women say some rather hurtful things both on here and in normal life. The one on here thought it wrong of me to be on here as I was blind. Then a couple of so called ladies who's children attend the same school as my daughter said that because I was blind I could not possibly take proper care of my daughter. Do not get me wrong the chances of me getting father of the year are remote and I am ok with that. But my daughter is always clean, tidy and respectful. The grades at school are always good. Some people still amaze me, most in a good way but a few in not such a good way. But on a brighter side the sun is out and it is warm

I think people open their mouths before they think. Do they think that you can't wash or cook for yourself then because you are blind?

To be fair I gave a cleaner to clean house. But I do most of the cooking, I bake cakes and bread most days. Not many things that I can not do and if I can not I do my best to find away around it

I admire people who get on with things and do a great job dispite a disability, you get a few narrow minded folk who make negative comments, rise above it they know nothing. Keep up the good work
