or serviette? Paper or cloth? Do you place on your lap when eating?

For preference linen or cotton napkin but a paper one is fine so is calling it a serviette if you want to. On my lap for me.

Not many places do proper cotton napkins anymore sadly. I miss it. Yes I do use a serviette and open it and put on my lap. Sometimes if they ut extra on a coffee tray, I take them and put in the car and use when I need them

My gramps used to have a napkin holder on his shirt he used to wear when going out.

Looked a bit like a tie pin but was for fixing a cotton napkin
