I always tell my kid that you shouldn't say someone's stupid because there are different types of intelligence, we can't all know everything and have everything we know be 100% correct.

I believe there was an episode in friends where Phoebe convinces Ross something about dinosaurs. Using the fact that everyone once believed the world was flat before proven not to be. So everything we confidently know to be true could just be waiting to be disproved.

AI will be as smart as people design them but people are flawed.

So, in some cases, yes — natural stupidity can certainly outpace AI, especially when it comes to the messy, illogical, and highly emotional aspects of human behaviour!
