a Sunday roast today? I had bits and pieces throughout the day but not actually a big dinner.

Yep we did. I made a roast beef dinner. We haven't had one at home since crimbo, it was worth the time and effort.... but am happy not to make another for a few months.

Today has been carb heavy I'm afraid MB

Shreddies with sliced banana for brekkie

A wholemeal roll with cheese & onion crisps at lunch time

An M&S chocolate coated custard cream at around 4pm

Wholemeal pasta and chilli & tomato tapenade for tea

I have some baklava to enjoy with a brew this evening

They can be rather good sometimes. Especially if you can choose different meats. The only thing I find fisappointing sometimes is that most overcook the veg. Glad you enjoyed

I live with my good friend and she wants a pork roast so there's a joint slow roasting.

I'm kind of off meat so it's snackies and a fruit salad for me.

Six for lunch … cooked Bavet steaks from a Dishoom recipe … went down really well lovely combo of spices but v v slow cooked

Plus veg cooked to the Dishoom methods

Even made two pudding - panocotta with blue berries and lime zest plus a traditional sticky toffee pudding with cream to harden the arteries

Copious wine needed too !
