I absolutely hated turning 50, after my 40s being so good , it just felt like the end of the world.

But I’m doing okay now I get on the mobility scooter and manage to get to the swimming pool once a week and do a couple of widths with the help of my carer.

Boiled cabbage is not as bad as everyone says, especially if you pour some lumpy gravy on it.

Yeah, my house smells like a fusty old charity shop, but that’s because everything in it came from the charity shop. Ive dozens of different glasses one of each type & size, so whatever you bring to drink, there will be the correct glass for you, I’ll drink it out of an old mug though.
