If you can, keep razors out of the bathroom or at least keep them dry as poss. Whilst razors last longer than they did, keeping them dry by flicking excess water off after use will help prevent micro rust build up on their surface.

Light exfoliation a day or two after also helps some.

Wilkinson Sword Quattro 5 blade sensitive. never had a problem and I have sensitive skin. been shaving since 1990

I've tried them all. I love going smooth, I'm always trimmed, but smooth just feel the best.

However, that regrowth is a killer and ingrowing hairs can be painful and unsightly. Any tips or tricks would be a good send.

This, and then use Dermol lotion. Get it from the pharmacy, 500ml for about £11 and last for ages. I use it as a moisturiser and the spots/rash are gone.

Use hair conditioner (never foam) which coats the hair. It protects the skin allowing the blade to glide over the area causing less drag and irritation.

Any hair removal like shaving or waxing etc needs constant aftercare to maintain the skin barrier. Moisturiser is yr new best friend. This part is often neglected and only done after shaving. It needs to be maintained for a few days especially if u've been a bit heavy or rough with the blade
