I write and would like some honest and open feedback regarding people's perception about erotic fiction.

Is it something you've encounted before and if so:

What grabs your attention, encourages you to read it?

Donyou prefer a physical book or is digital sufficient?

We have quite a collection of erotica. I read it in digital and physical form.

I get very quickly bored with poorly written, unlikely story lines and the over use of flowery language. I prefer short, sweet and to the point where the author obviously understands sex from a woman's point if view

Yes.

The kink is the main point for me. Not just sex scenes, which are in fact secondary to the kinks that the book or the characters explore. It might be a very well written book, but if it's not aligned with my kinks I won't really read it.

Digital is sufficient and actually preferred when it comes to erotic fiction.

Do you tend to stick with authors you've come to know and trust or experiment?

Experiment.

Most authors have a style and after a couple of books they tend to get a bit samey unless they're really good. You start to notice the use of certain phrases and descriptions over and over.

This is something I've been working on. Having a style, but not one that detracts from the flow.
