What's your go to drinks order when you go to a coffee shop?

Is cake included in this order?

Usually an Americano with a dash of milk. I find milky coffees to filling.

Cake is always there as a option, muffin, flapjack or caramel slice.

I like to vary it but usually either a flat white or a pourover. I also recently tried something called a split shot recently which is an espresso and a cortado which was great!

For cake, it will probably be a lemon drizzle or something really chocolatey. The coffee shop I go to also does these warm, gooey cookies 🤤

I despise the inherited American coffee shop business model. All that banging and creams and syrups, being upsold some shite you don’t want ! I stick with independents and normally it’s a n espresso with a drop of warm milk. I love being in Spain where it takes 30 seconds to get a coffee versus 5 minutes in the UK.

Maybe just a slice of imagination cake for me.

Nothing prepared me for it Joe. I have to be honest here, I thought I added the ice cream to the coffee 😂 but my lovely friend guided me otherwise. It was so nicely served too. Much like you, I was a little indecisive and wanted a hot drink but thought in for a penny.

I was not disappointed at all and think I'd have that and a hot one next time. Lol

Brum - ish

I get a latte - I like the texture of the foam. Occasionally I’ll get cake and that depends on where I am. Costa would be their millionaire shortbread or rocky road. There’s a lovely place by me that does amazing brownies and it depends on what’s in as to what I’ll go for. Chocolate orange was a high point!
