question about chat room

hi, wonder if anyone can answer a question for me??? i invited someone to come and chat to me in the chatroom , rather than sending normal messages , and when he came in there wasnt the chat option next to his name?? am i being dim? lol

do you mean the PM symbol wasnt under his name next to th block and poke ones?

he may ave his PM set to friends only or nobody. he will either need to initate the chat or change his settings
