Cheeseville, Somerset

So I've just binged the Christopher Nolan Batman films one after the other and can't help thinking what a monumental fuck up it was not making a fourth, given the ending and the obvious easy lead into a (decent) Batman & Robin flick.

Any other sequels that you think should have been made that weren't, or were shelved or put on the backburner for eternity? 🤔

Not a sequel, but I'm in mourning for Coyote vs Acme; I would have loved to have seen it to see if it lived up to the hype of previews

Markfield

I haven’t yet seen 28 years later (due out this summer) but I’d have like to see 28 months later as we’ve had 28 days and 28 weeks.

Somewhere In The Ether…

The two planned Solomon Kane sequels which sadly, never materialised.

I was pleasantly surprised by the original.

Also, a third outing for Kurt Russel as Snake Plissken; he could still pull it off as a more mature but equally as cynical hero 😃

Most of the films I love either have sequels that kinda spoil the original or don't and I'd hate the idea. Matrix 2 & 3 anyone? Nope. Thought not..

Although I did think "Mathilda" could have been viable for Leon.

I loved Solomon Kane, they could have done sequels or prequels as there was so much to go off

Rockenrolla……they told us the wild bunch would return but they didn’t

"True Romance but directed by Quentin Tarantino

Return of the Jedi directed by David Lynch"

Quentin Tarantino directing a Star Trek movie. We will never have the joy of seeing a Klingon Samuel L Jackson shouting mother fucker at Starfleet.
