Exactly this. Then it was followed up with denial etc probably because it was a bit Loch Ness Monster type stuff.

Have you never asked yourselves how the BBC are always right there when a new piece of art crops up?

Also notice how hard it is to find a clear name for them no matter what you Google? Try asking on of the many AI's out there.

You don't get that kind of anonymity without state level support at very high levels.

I don’t think there is a Banksy. I think it’s a consortium of artists from within the art industry - Which is a total racket.

Don’t you think it’s weird he’s never being caught in one of most high surveillance cities in the world?

He did a large wall mural one night at a school in Bristol, and the whole thing from start to finish is on cctv. It was just one man doing all the painting.. possibly others keeping an eye out, but all one mans work. It was verified as a Banksy.
