Local Baker is nicer, Hovis for toast as cheap but full of salt and othere chemicals.

Morrisions is nice and lasts OK

But I do like fresh Bread 🍞

1st - Warburton's brown Danish is the best on the market I found. Makes some lovely sandwiches...

2nd - Hovis Tasty brown Wholemeal. I'm on that at the moment as they didn't have the Warburton's one.... Grrrrr.

I've got to be a good boy re fitness & change of diet!

Bread is has to be giraffe/tiger bread.

For a roll I really do like those partbaked petit pans, cook when needed and have a lovely crusty warm roll whenever you want.

For a burger I like a brioche bun lightly toasted

Sliced bread? Roberts.

Though I don't care much what brand of sliced bread.

My preference is the humble French Baguette. Having spent some time in sleepy corners of France, I became accustomed to following the smells to the bakery, when they came out of the oven. In all honesty nothing here comes close. Marks and Booths do a decent baguette.

Britain is great for pies, but bread is more about function.
