Welford Road missed out, people are angry about it. If you've ever been there you'll know why. There's only about 9 parking spaces...lol

The Leicester City football ground (Walkers stadium) will be hosting 3 matches though.

The new Caterpillar stand is pretty good but access is restricted as its opposite the hospital with a dual carriageway either side. People end up parking on the hospital car park, which is obviously not on.

I've never been to the Walkers stadium, I'm not a football fan... Many afternoons have been spent cheering the Tigers on with my son though...

Southwick

Thirteen stadiums selected of which only four are dedicated rugby union venues.

I'm happy that the Amex stadium in Brighton has been selected....but for the World Cup will be known as Brighton Community Stadium presumably on the grounds of not using commercial names.

Two games including Samoa and South Africa.

I guess the problem being that not enough of the grounds are big enough to cater for the large crowds needed to make the event profitable.

By using grounds with adequate capacity it allows more people to access the games, and hopefully for the pool games at a reasonable price.
