Is this necessary for most of us who at least have access to a flannel? It seems to be a marketing point lately but I'm struggling to see how most of us would benefit. Have I misunderstood, can you shower, bathe or wash and not reapply?

The effects are (presumably) if you haven't bathed in that period, otherwise the product washes off and then you reapply.

I don't use it at all - haven't done in a long time

I shower every morning and after work (more because it wakes me up than needing it)

I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to shower gel. I only use Molton Brown which lingers on your body anyway, so don't feel the need for sprays or roll ons

But does it last 48 hours. I find they start buzzing about after about 12 hours if I can my pits with a piece of raw cod.

The way I understand it is less from a fragrance but more an environmental point of view. Using pressurised canisters isn’t environmentally friendly. So you don’t have to apply as often.

Not so much about getting away with poor hygiene

I've wondered if people interpret the alleged duration, by inferring that it's likely even more effective, when just needed for shorter periods of time. Perhaps those who sweat excessively and assume it's a magic bullet.
