Would all depend on things such as distance as I'd need to plan and how we are getting along via messaging. Suppose it could also depend on what some expect from meeting in person. For me it would probably be a social a nice beverage of some kind of a walk and with no expectations of anything else.

We once messaged a guy on a Friday and then drive from Glasgow to Manchester on Saturday to meet him 🫣☺️

If it's at a club, I'm already comfortable - and in my underwear

From messages, they'd have to prove they're actually into me, within reachable distance and we're on the same wavelength.

I'm very hard to convince though.

We like to create a chat, so were on the same page and everyone feels involved, before moving to a social

I usually go to clubs and go with no expectations so if anything happens then it does and for private meets we've normally chatted for abit first

I don't think you can put a timer on it. It's going to depend on the person. But then what do I know.

All depends on the person I'm talking to and the vibe I get off them.

I avoid chats. They don't prove anything. We are hard wired to meet in my opinion.

Of course it depends on loads of variables including distance, availability, attraction etc. Also totally different circumstances in a club than online.

But if I'm interested in someone generally I prefer to meet sooner rather than later to guage if the chemistry is there in real life. But not the same day etc. I like a good chat first to build interest and chemistry. Just not six months down the line.

Not everyone wants to meet now. It does seem to be the preferred option particularly for men, but many people actually prefer to chat for a while first, maybe have a social coffee or drink and see if the online person is the same as in real life.

For some there never a rush. 🤷‍♂️

.

It takes me some time. I've never been one for clubs, NSA and similar. Leaves me almost painfully dry.

And I like a friendship. Then I realise I fancy them. I'd say probably at least a few months of sporadic talking? One of my favourite people from this site, it took us eight years (with a hefty gap) from first talking to finally blush at each other in real life.

I don't really do the whole meet someone and fuck on the same day thing either. Thank fuck Fab isn't just for swingers.

People get married, have children, have an affair and get divorced. Then remarried in less time

I have to agree with this 👆. I'm a nervous person as is, so I can do without immediate pressure most of the time. I don't feel the need to rush and not know what I'm walking into.

Depends on who person is and how u chat a prefer to meet even just for a chat , sooner rather than later if time allows it’s so much easier to see how u get on in person, obviously public place etc

I'd be happy to meet pretty soon (within a few days) for a social, given that the person seems interesting enough that we could actually have a conversation.

If it turns out we're not compatible, it's not much of a loss and it saves having to go through a 'talking phase'.

It depends on the person. I've met next day after first chatting. Usually several days-several weeks. Sometimes things go on for months before schedules align. I don't always love it when things go on for a long time especially if you get into that making small talk to force the conversation going. That makes me cringe and I lose all excitement for meeting.
