North East Scotland, mostly

It’s a beautiful morning here, I’m just back from the shop with some freshly baked goods, smelling delicious! I went for a baguette and some butteries. What’s your go to?

Butteries? Damn you.

This thread has inspired me to go to a good bakery this weekend (hopefully!) so thank you for that.

I really love a good sourdough loaf. And cinnamon rolls with an almost obscene amount of frosting/cinnamon. Oh and crusty yet pillowy rolls but only if they're made on the day.

A good croissant is a work of beauty. Oh and challah with roasted butternut squash 🥰

I can't stand sweet bread UNLESS it's fruit loaf. I really like sourdough

I currently have pecan plaits baking in the oven 😍

In a UK chain bakery, yum-yums, maybe a bloomer loaf. Somewhere a bit more artisan it will be carrot cake, lemon drizzle or whatever looks good.

In a boulangerie - a campagne, croissants, pains aux chocolats, tarte au fraise...

God, I loved baked goods. 😍😂
