If anyone has a contact for potential jobs in the Kent area please let me know. Had my license for 6 months now and had 2 offers but not worth the stress of working for those two companies for next to nothing to be honest. But now I’ve found myself at a loose end for work I’m strongly considering a driving job again

Being as you've only held you licence that long, you will probably have to start with those types of companies and work your way up. Most still want 2 years experinece.

Try some of the bigger firms like DHL, Culina etc as they might take on with less experience.

Contary to the usual bull, there isn't a shortage of drivers, just a shortage of decent paying jobs with decent firms. Too many have believed the hype and got their licence and been shocked at whats required of them. I've been doing it coming up 30 years now and have finally landed a decent job in the last 4 years for a good amount of pay on an easy job averaging around 60 hrs a week and away 4 nights

Good luck, but make sure its what you actually want to do as it will be unsociable hours and around 60 a week as a standard in the industry

I have always been a night owl and am rather happy in my own company… just hoping something slightly better pops up!
