Devastated to hear that Rick has died, only 69 years old. The first band I ever saw (in 1977) powerful and underrated drummer.

Oh that's sad, 69 is no age. I was in the Jam's "Funeral Pyre" video in the early 80's shot not far from my home, in a woods near Woking. Rick was by far the nicest and chattiest of the three, he gave me one of his Rothman's as we chatted. Paul Weller was a bit of an "I'm a pop star" knob and Bruce Foxton was very shy, but Rick was a friendly bloke. RIP

Sad news have always loved the Jam but i was to young to see them live when they split up .
