"Nobody from Manchester i see.... ![]() I am from Manchester and they are my team 🙋🏻♀️ I remember the rough times in the 80s, revelled in the great times in the 90s and riding the current wave of as we do until they rise again 😂

"I remember pre 1992 they weren't that successful. It's a phase. Liverpool and the mighty Sheffield Wednesday have been through it 😋🤓" Everything goes in phases in Football. Take Man City & Chelsea for instance, neither of them had won a league title in half a century until new owners took over and got them flying again. Man Utd's phases just tend to last a bit longer when they win things. The early 50s to mid 60s, and early 90s to 2013 are their only real periods of success and it's looking like a very long time until they win anything again!

"Yep, suffering fan here too, years of mismanagement and picking the ring manager at the wrong time has lead us here..it’s a long road back but Amorim is the guy!" His record this far doesn't back that up and yes it's not his team etc and he may well turn it around if he gets the right signings in the summer but how many top flight players will want to sign ? Of course it's cyclical and they will be a lot higher up the table in time..

"Can any of you reds explain the concept of Rasmus Hojlund to me? I mean, what does he actually do?" I think he should be a wrestler the way he keeps tackling people

Oh it’s a long way back but he has a set way of playing, a structure for players to either adapt to over the summer or ship out. It’s better than the halfway compromise which other managers fell to because they wouldn’t or couldn’t play to what they were told so a manager would try and gel what they could do with what he wanted. Rinse and repeat for 10 years. I’m just sick of the 2 year cycle and the millions wasted on poor scouting. If Amorim can get players to play above their ability we will come good without the ready made best players-see a number of clubs above us!
