Hi all, I want to use veet sensitive for first time. How long after can you have sex? And has anyone had any bad experiences with it. Thanks in advance 😃

I only used it once, never again! Wet shaving for me since that experience.

It felt like burning and stung, plus it stinks. I can't remember how long it said to leave it on for now but I went under the time, not over it.

Couldn't have had sex if it were offered to me, it was that painful afterwards.

It's a no from me!

Follow the instructions, don’t leave it on for longer than the instructed time.

Do a patch test first to make sure you’re not burning the skin or causing any other reaction.

I use it frequently with no problems and have sex as soon afterwards as I want.

As above. Yes, it smells. Don't leave it on too long. Do not get it under your foreskin 🫣😬

Veet isn’t bad - once it’s washed off and you’ve moisturised it should be ok. I once had a bad experience with excruciating burning on my balls - but I think the new sensitive formula is meant to guard against it…

Tried once. Never again. Oil and a decent razor only since.

I've got sensitive skin, so suspect that my legs would look like they've been napalmed.

I used a good shaver that I bought in Boots. The lady who happened to have a loyalty card was very grateful for the points

I was hoping to hear better things from the sensitive very, sick and tired of nicking base of shaft and ball sack with a razor. Waxing is expensive and the aftercare is a pain. Any advice on a good razor that reduces the little nicks. Thanks

Only if it's been washed... be worse than drinking Listerine.

I've tried veet and woowoo.

Both burned and neither removed the hair as advertised.

I just stick with a decent razor and whipped soap followed by coconut body butter now

Sitting on the table

I use veet expert on crack/sack, and shave everywhere else. As others have said, test it out on your arm or somewhere less sensitive first, and don't leave it on longer than the recommended time.

I use heavily lathered exfoliating mits to remove it when I get in the shower.

The only thing I'd warn against is using it too frequently. I'd suggest only once every 4-5 days. Just use a razor in-between veets

Don't, it resolves hair and the skin od your sack is sensitive, don't do it.

I use magic shaving powder.

I have been burnt on to many occasions from veet and can’t shave as it gives me the worst rashes.

I used veet once and it felt like it set me on fire left me red and sore for about a week, not a pleasant experience so since then I've put up with the shaving itch, well was until I stumbled on a post here recommending "no hair crew" works like veet but it's got a better formula and works perfect on my sensitive skin.

Even fresh razors are smoother after they’ve been honed. I use one called a RazorPit. They prevent catching and make your blades last two or three times longer.

I use veet sensitive and it works for me without any above mentioned side effects.

The first time I used a cream, I bought something from Anne summers and that felt like I'd just rubbed sandpaper all over myself.🤣🥵

Veet and Woo Woo have both worked for me, i have burned a couple of times but did leave it on a little longer than instructed. I don't like the smell from either of these creams, they smell of fish so wash thoroughly afterwards.

I don’t need to shave after using it. It’s great stuff. I buy mine from Amazon

I had some lube from there that I swear burnt me inside and out. I’ve never ran so fast for a shower before 🤣🤣

Needless to say it went straight in the bin

Seems to have no effect on me whatsoever. I can leave it on for half an hour (when it states no more than 6 mins) and my hair is still there!

There are far better methods.

They are selling "Veet For Men" in Sainsbury's now, follow the instructions and it's fine, have the bath ready to jump into after 5 minutes, avoid under your foreskin and too close to your bum hole. I was left really smooth especially on my balls.

This was my experience too. I wouldn't bother using it again.

I used Veet or Nair 20 years ago on my upper body and it worked fine the first time.

A couple of months later I used it again, followed the instructions to the letter and ended up with second degree burns on my chest.

It was a month out of date but I hadn't thought of checking that beforehand.
